Ralfonso
Ralfonso has been a designer of environmental interaction, kinetic, light and sound sculptures (sculptures that interact with the environment such as wind and water) since 1980. Since 1999 he has specialized in the design and execution of large to huge kinetic and light sculptures, all Ralfonso kinetic sculptures move as they interact with water, wind, electricity and the natural environment, and most importantly with the viewer.



Social Recognition and Achievements
As a kinetic artist, his sculptures are designed in sizes ranging from 2 ft. to 10 ft. (70 cm - 3 m) for private collections and exhibitions, and from 10 ft. to 270 ft. (3m - 80m) for public spaces. Sculptures have been exhibited or installed in Switzerland, Holland, Russia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, France, Taiwan and the United States.
He is not only an artist, but a symbol of kinetic sculpture, active in the urban public art world, and his work is the culmination of dynamic sculptural public art that blends cultures.

In 2001, he served as Chairman of Public Art and co-founded the Kinetic Art Organization (KAO) with Kinetic Artist in Germany and the United States.
With more than 1000 members in over 60 countries, KAO has become the largest kinetic art organization in the world.
In 2013, he was invited by Tsinghua University to teach the first kinetic interactive art course in China.
He has been invited to teach or lecture on kinetic and interactive art and STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, art, math) in art groups at leading colleges and universities around the world.
