The sculpture "Blooming White Orchid" is about 12 meters high, 16 meters wide and

weighing up to 16 tons. It lasts for more than half a year for the fabrication, we constantly

strive for perfection during each progress. Professor Liming has been to the factory many

times for guidance, he focus on details which achieves this art piece.

White orchid is the city flower of Dongguan. Blooming with large and white flower, it

symbolizes the spirit of pioneering and diligent. Dongguan citizens have the excellent

quality of hard-working, positive and solidary. Wish this white orchid can show the spirit

of Dongguan people and encourage them to continue working hard. Also hope that this

sculpture can enter the hearts of Dongguan people, go global and become a highlight of the

history of sculpture.
